Global health institutions must uphold integrity, neutrality, and equality. When these principles are violated, credibility suffers and health outcomes are undermined.
We call on the international health community to urgently correct these breaches. Specifically:
The WHO must condemn Hamas for weaponizing health facilities and misappropriating humanitarian aid.
WHO and partners must stop disseminating unverified or selective data.
The UN must remove Francesca Albanese as Special Rapporteur due to her calls to boycott Israeli medical professionals and repeated antisemitic rhetoric, clear violations of neutrality.
Baseless accusations of genocide against Israel must cease. Their repetition by health actors politicizes the field and erodes trust.
The World Health Assembly must drop its standing agenda item targeting Israel. This annual resolution undermines the impartiality expected in medicine.
Disinformation, bias, and double standards have no place in global health. We urge all health professionals to return to evidence-based, neutral, and equitable practice.
